I have always loved learning! When I was young my goal was to always become a teacher. Once I was close to graduating high school and completed a couple of co operative education classes, it was evident that there were limited opportunities in the profession and it made sense to pursue another goal of mine, which was to work with people. I continued my studies in the healthcare field, specifically dental and medical laboratory sciences. I have now had the opportunity to spend the past 20 years fulfilling that dream.

Last year I decided to return to the classroom and challenge myself to become an educator. I can't wait to share my experience, knowledge and education with others. I aspire to be something bigger than myself, and to work in an environment where I can find purpose, positivity and be challenged!

I completed my practicum at a local Secondary School in the healthcare class. Healthcare provides such a diverse range of navigation and includes abundant ways in which learning can take place. Find inspiration in the various activities the students have completed.
